Project Details

For my playing card, I wanted to focus on a design that would interact well when reflected on the card. I chose to have my avatar watering a plant in one hand, while holding a plant upside down in the other. That way, when the image is reflected it appears as if each hand is watering each plant. For my color theory, I stuck with a lot of earth tones and greens to match the theme of the imagery I included. For my pattern, I played around with a couple different designs and decided I enjoyed the more circular pattern designs. This project helped me develop my skills with illustrating using vectors in Illustrator.
